Well, I *am* making the road trip down to Hagenmeyer's end of the woods to catch "Land of the Dead" in three weeks (in my crew t-shirt of course!) and am planning on fitting a pint in there somewhere... you are of course welcome to join! icon_wink.gif

cheers,

ADAM,

What did you think of MR. GEORGE A. ROMERO'S LAND OF THE DEAD™, then?

I quite enjoyed it, although I thought most of the zombies looked far too "fresh", given how long they were supposed to be zombified. But I suspect my two readings of the script ahead of time flavoured my viewing heavily, and it seemed like old, familiar territory. But I still get a bit of the fanboy thrill when I see my work on the big screen icon_wink.gif.

cheers,
Adam

P.S. if there was every anything in my store you had your eye on, this is the month to make your way down here. I'm going to be closing the doors for good at the end of the month, and nearly everything is priced to get it out of the door.
ADAM,

I'm glad you enjoyed MR. GEORGE A. ROMERO'S LAND OF THE DEAD™, despite your forensic/post-mortem concerns.
I know what you mean about "the fanboy thrill", as I experience that whenever I get sent a different coloured copy of a given script. icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you for the reminder about your shop, as I had intended to make my way toward that location because I have not yet seen it.

Your words of optimism to JENILEIGH were most heartening to me, also, for which I do thank you.

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSS to all...y'all are so sweet.

We're doing ok...still camping and such. Good thing I like the rain and the tent don't leak in the bedroom! icon_lol.gif

We had the kids this weekend which was nice. Wish we could have them full time...maybe when we get things settled.

I agree about things seeming to be bad for everyone the last year. We figure our curse is the house we used to be in. Everything went wrong the second my hubby got it. (dropped a radeator (sp) on his toe and missed alot of his old job!) So we figure when we get the back rent paid off and can tell the rather ********* landlord where to go, things will get alot better. Its a work in progress!

I loved Chris as Dr Who...really wish he had stayed longer. There is a Christmas special coming out this year with the new Doctor (David Tennet) so will get to see what we think and all that.

Need to run...our kids are over running the library! icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
JENILEIGH,

I'm glad to read that you're managing to keep a positive outlook on the situation.

I had been under the impression that the children were with you all the time, so things aren't quite as bleak as I had originally thought.

I know what you mean about accursed dwellings, but my own feeling is that the landlord/landlady is the true source of any & all unpleasantness, rather than any Supernatural influence.

I wish your bloke a speedy recovery from the radiator incident.
(I am glad that I'm paranoid about wearing steel toe/shank footwear whenever engaged in heavy lifting, as I've seen people crippled for loss of a great toe!)

I will be able to put MR. CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON'S work as DOCTOR WHO™ to bed once I learn the actual reason why he didn't wish to continue in the role, but I wish the Scots geezer well in the part.

Me again...HUGSSSSSS everyone

Things are still as they were...though it sounds like my parents are trying to get together funds to bail us out. Hard to come up with rent and deposit money when you are already working so hard to live in a tent. icon_rolleyes.gif We're dealing though!

Malcolm...as far as I know, he decided not to return as Doctor Who because he did not want to always be known as the Doctor. *shruggs* Hope he realizes that he always will be... icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I thought he made a good Doctor, but I'll always remember him as the crazy army officer in "28 Days Later".

I received several emails and phone calls this evening regarding a post by Gary Davidson, Malcolm's producer/creator/writer for his potential upcoming fledgling SF television series. Here it is:

Quote:

It is with tremendous sadness that I inform everyone Malcolm has passed away.

The details are slow in coming but what we know is that he died on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 sometime in the afternoon.

Police are still attempting to contact family members so if anyone knows how to contact Malcolm's relatives, either in Ontario, Canada or in Manchester, England please have them contact Peel Regional Police in Mississauga Ontario, or the Toronto Police Services directly; or through their local authorities.

I promise that as things calm down and we absorb this devasting news that more information will be posted here, but I felt it important to let everyone know what we could.

Those who have been advised already are grieving each in their own way at the loss of this very special man. I hope each of you find solace in your memories of encounters with him, in person and through these channels. We at Titan shall miss him terribly.

Take care everyone. I am sorry to be the bearer of this sad news.

Gary Davidson

Here is the post.

I don't have any further information at this time (and those of us closer to the situation are trying). I'll keep you updated as I get more information.

I'm in a horrified state of shock and disbelief myself. ..

He does play a nut rather often don't he? Like in the newer version on Gone in 60 Seconds...

Just dropping by to say hi and prove I still live. We're still living in a tent and are hoping to convince the city council that we are actully in need of housing by winter. Would be nice...then I could get online at home rather then only at the library. I will be starting a part time job on the 1st of Dec. Wish me luck!!

I have only stopped by because BJ emailed me to bring this to my attention. I have been so busy with the whole homeless thing that I had no idea...have only been able to drop by for a moment in the past, not long enough to read.

please tell me its not true. please email me at jenileigh1111@hotmail.com if you have any information other then what has been posted.

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
(btw...I'm not homeless anymore - didn't want anyone to worry about that...seems enough is going on)
