13) Come Back Again

Hey... it's quiet in here.
Cauught in this circle of years,
it gets a little but bland,
but you see, I've got this plan.
What a beautiful sound!
The flare's gone up. The wall's coming down,
and that is my cue
to step on through.

Though it's time to leave this place,
come back again, come back again.
Let me once more glimpse your face.
Come back again. Come back again.
Come back again and speak to me, my friend...

Hey! I'm up to my ears
but there is nothing to fear,
'cause I think i know where I am,
and you see, I've got this plan.
I'm learning to float
upon a single, shining note
that sings in my bones
and calls me back home...

Though you've got a place to go,
come back again, come back again.
Leave some word to let me know.
Come back again. Come back again.
Come back again and speak to me, my friend...

One year done, put to bed.
New one still circles overhead.
This one day passes through,
wed to neither, but between the two shores,
suspended, as in air...
and if you want to,
you can find me there...

Hey! I'm learning to swim,
and just to centre the spin.
I'm still hoping there's land,
'cause you see, I've got this plan.
I'm gonna head for the stairs.
I've got a feeling something's up there,
but I won't leave you alone.
I'll see you back home

Though your voice is on the fade,
come back again, come back again...
Though your passage has been paid,
come back again, come back again.
Come back again and speak to me my friend.
It doesn't have to be the end.
